Next, you will need to secure the GFCI into the electrical box in your wall. Depending on the type of installation, this can be done with screws, bolts, or specially designed straps. Make sure all the wiring is secured before replacing the cover plate for the electrical box.

Finally, the last step is to turn the main power switch back on and test the GFCI. To do this, press the "test" button on the GFCI breaker. You should hear a click and the reset button should pop out. If both the "test" and "reset" buttons work correctly, then you have successfully installed the GFCI breaker and your home or office is now protected against dangerous electric shocks and malfunctions.
