Don't forget about the blue sky, sunrise, and all the space between.
When a band tries and fails to get themselves to the UK on two separate occasions, you have to at least respect their effort. Yet, third time seemed to be lucky for the guys from Valencia, as they overcame the obstacles and visited our shores this month, to show us Brits exactly what everyone in America's been raving about and help us get the summer of 2008 off to a wonderful start. We bumped into the George Ciukurescu and Brendan Walter of the band - quite literally - on the opening date of their first ever UK tour with Kids In Glass Houses in Middlesbrough, and asked for a bit of a chat. It ended up being a casual conversation, with very little structure and some pretty useless questions, but you might as well give it a watch anyhow, right? |
